SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., March 7, 2007 - Jason Michael Paul Productions, Inc. has announced that the city of Fort Worth will be the next confirmed stop on the world tour of PLAY! A Video Game Symphony. A new concert series that draws its scores from a catalogue of blockbuster video games, PLAY! will be performed at 8 p.m., Saturday, January 19 2008 at Bass Performance Hall.

Brought to vibrant life by the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and an accompanying choir, the PLAY! concert features award-winning orchestral music from popular video game titles including Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Metal Gear Solid, The Legend Of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., World Of Warcraft, Sonic The Hedgehog and Shenmue. Outstanding graphics on large screens above the Orchestra will accompany the scores to highlight memorable moments from the games.

"It is exciting to bring another video game music concert to the wonderful city of Fort Worth. After the success of Dear Friends - Music from FINAL FANTASY in 2005 and now PLAY!, it is obvious that there is a reputation for a quality show involving video game music," said Jason Michael Paul, producer of PLAY!. "Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth is a world-class, acoustically superb venue, which is a perfect match for what we are building with such a new genre of music. The two-hour concert will be performed by the FWSO and world-renowned music director Miguel Harth-Bedoya, who conducted the North American premiere of Dear Friends-Final Fantasy in Los Angeles.

"We are excited to bring the PLAY! concert to Fort Worth, especially after the success of Final Fantasy, which quickly sold out two years ago," Harth-Bedoya said. "This kind of concert gives us an opportunity to reach out to new audiences, while the multimedia presentation will enhance the performance for the entire audience, game lovers and music lovers alike."
