» Akira Yamaoka to perform in Sydney

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., May 25, 2007 - Jason Michael Paul Productions, Inc. confirmed that Japanese composer and producer Akira Yamaoka will come to PLAY! concerts in Sydney on June 19th and 20th and he will perform live on guitar together with the orchestra.

Akira Yamaoka is producer of the SILENT HILL (R) Series 3 and 4, he has also worked on the sound and music for other popular franchises from Konami. Recently, Akira Yamaoka has released his first solo album and also worked on the music for the motion picture SILENT HILL (R) released in 2006.

Says Jason Michael Paul: "Due to Akira's unique style as a composer and his versatility on guitar, he can create various musical styles combining the ultimate concepts of music. He is a true showman! His philosophy and musicality lend perfectly to our program and how we intend to deliver an evolving show full of surprises. To have Akira join us from Tokyo for the Sydney performances is a treat for everyone. I am grateful for his participation.".
